So happy i found these guys. Usually I'll only complain about places online, but I'd like others to be able to have a reliable and honest mechanic so I'd like to share a positive review. My x5 goes no where else since its warranty ran out and I have zero hesitation in recommending this place. Check all the BMW forums and they'll say the same- one of the best NYC area garages. No nonsense, well informed and professional.

Great service! When do you ever feel like you have found a conscientious, attentive and honest car repair shop? I've taken my Volvo S40 and most recently my Jaguar X-Type there and my experience has been fantastic. Nick, John and Tam have alwys explained every repair to us carefully. They fielded numerous phone calls from us, provided options and worked with us to make the repairs which fit our budget and advised us on what we can defer until a later date. VERY different from other shops, who will make every minor issue sound like a huge safety risk and twist your arm into pouring every single dollar in your car that they can squeeze out of you. Not here! They even threw a critical part in for free, when we declined a repair due to price concerns. They did that out of gratitude for our loyalty to them and because of their concern for the safety of our car. I highly recommend them.

Ive been going here for five years now. From your new york state inspection to oil change to major mechanical issues I feel likethese guys have my back. I almost *didnt* want to write this review because i need them to stay a secret so I dont have to share them!! First they are professional and courteous with a positive attitude! Second, they are thorough - i received a detailed diagnostic report with pictures detailing what needed urgent repair and what needed maintenance. For all the people that felt that they got scammed, Although I agree that the prices are steep - if its what gets me quality service then I am in!

Nick and the team at MINHS are real professionals. I was lucky enough to find a great shop in NYC that has the knowledge of BMWs and can be trusted to get the job done at a reasonable price. This time around they did their best to accommodate my request to do some significant repairs without my having to return for another visit. I was treated fairly and the service is always top-notch. An additional bonus is, I always get my car back after they've done a thorough wash. Sadly, that is not always the case with other shops. They run a very clean shop with a professional staff. I highly recommend them.

MINHS is the best! The guys are completely honest and thorough. They even pasted my registration sticker on last year.

Had very prompt and professional service here. They gave me a comprehensive summary on the work my car needed, a specific timetable and didn't hide any costs. If I called to check in and the original tech wasn't available anyone else I spoke to was perfectly knowledgeable and had access to my repair record. They even rushed my work to make sure it happened in the same day. I'd recommend booking a few days in advance as they are slammed usually. They are a smaller shop as well so not a ton of room, expect to drop your car off in front. I had work done on a Japanese vehicle and they had an in house mechanic who specialized in my make and had a lot of insight into what to look out for. Overall I'd recommend them to anyone.

I have been using MINHS for the last 5 years. I originally came here after several disasters at BMW of Manhattan. The contrast is night and day. I just picked my 2004 325ci Beemer and as usual they have my car purring like a kitten; great service, reasonable pricing and after just an oil change got a wash and vacuuming. MINHS couldn't be nicer, more attentive and focused on what is immediately needed and what may be needed in the future. Vinny, Nick and Tam are the best. I can't give enough superlatives.

I had a very poor experience with this rip-off artist. He replaced my alternator with a rebuilt job that lasted all of 80 miles. He did say "I'm sorry you had that experience". but no furthwer repairs, and no money back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
