I do like this place a lot. I only give 4 stars because you really have to knock my socks off to get 5. I have a 12yo "classic" car that I try to keep in very good shape, mechanically. I never have a problem at Minhs. I go in with issues, they take a day to find the problem(s) and carefully explain what has to be done and how much it will cost. I've been there three or four times and have never had a bad surprise, or found out that the work wasn't done exactly as was explained. Honestly, I never feel apprehensive taking my car there. You shouldn't either.

I continue to recommend MINHS because of it's quality of service and great customer service. I take comfort in knowing that my car is well looked after and MINHS is a part of that.

Customer Service was great. They explained what was wrong with my car, how long it would take and what needed to be fixed and what "could wait" to be fixed.

Let's see, prompt, courteous, thorough, professional, excellent communication. The car was ready when promised. Michael is fantastic. MINHS corrected another shop's mis-diagnosis and saved me over $3,000 in needless work. The only place in NYC where I'll take my BMWs.

service was great, and quick, but I'm not sure that it is competitively priced. it was exceptionally expensive, and I plan to call around to compare pricing for the same service from other reputable shops in the future. if the pricing is comparable, I will come back to minhs gladly, because you did great work.

Very professional.

Got a pre-purchase inspection for a used BMW, handled by Vince. He found some legitimate problems, which were a bummer, but the inspection saved me from a bad purchase. Very good experience overall. Will definitely go back to get a PPI on the next car, and most likely will be coming back for regular service as well.

This place is great. I regret that I have been taking my out of maintenance X5 to BMW Manhattan for the last two years. I should have been using MINHS. They are honest, nice and very knowledgeable. They explain issue clearly and tell you upfront that what should be worked on now, what can wait. Unlike the dealership, they don't use scare tactics and do the excellent work with minimum cost. For example, my check engine light was on, and I took it to BMW Manhattan 2 weeks before the free maintenance ends, they fixed it and saying it is a small issue. 3 weeks later the light is on again, this time they say I need replace the gas bump for a few thousands from my own pocket and refused to admit they didn't do a good job on the same problem just a few weeks ago. Another example, I went to the dealership to fix a turn light bulb and they ended up asking me to replace the whole wiring for $1600 and claim I won't pass NY inspection without that. my visit to MINHS, I need to fix a loose wire problem in my sound system, they did the diagnosis and fixed it. While they did list the potential problem for the sound system to have issues in the future, they don't scare me into making unnecessary repair. I can imagine if I took this to the dealership, they will ask me to replace the whole sound system wiring again. I will definitely come back again.
